BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Majur Chol Khor, an esteemed South Sudanese journalist, is a multi-media award-winning professional known for his exceptional expertise in journalism, public relations, and documentary making.
Having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Cavendish University of Uganda, Majur is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at Makerere University, further solidifying his knowledge and skills in the field.
Majur’s extensive experience in journalism spans various roles and media outlets. From his tenure at Radio Jonglei 95.9 FM, where he excelled as a Presenter, Reporter, Producer, News Editor, Marketing Officer, and Program Manager, to his contributions as a state correspondent for the Juba Monitor, his dedication to the craft is evident.
Joining SSBC in 2018, he continued to make a mark as a presenter, reporter, News Editor, and news anchor, showcasing his versatility and proficiency in the broadcasting industry.
In addition to his notable work in radio and print media, Majur has collaborated with renowned organizations as a stringer, including the Sudan Tribune and VOA, while also contributing to platforms like the Juba Echo website and the Cross Border Network.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Majur enjoys immersing himself in various interests such as listening to the radio, reading literature, keeping abreast of global affairs, playing football, and indulging in movies and news programs on television.
