Today, as we reflect on the passing of the great patriot and founding father of our nation, South Sudan, Dr. John Garang De Mabior, we are reminded of his unwavering dedication and sacrifice for our people. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all South Sudanese, and his vision continues to inspire us.
Dr. Garang, along with other heroes like President Salva Kiir Mayardit and many others, played a crucial role in the liberation struggle that led to the birth of our nation. Their sacrifices have paved the way for us to enjoy the freedoms we have today.
As loyalists of the SPLM, we are honored to have witnessed history in the making and to have the opportunity to carry on the work of our fallen heroes. Let us remember their courage and selflessness as we strive to uphold the values they fought for.
To our current leaders, we urge you to stay true to the promises made during the liberation struggle and to lead our country with integrity and compassion. The people of South Sudan look up to you for guidance and support during these challenging times.
On this day of remembrance, let us turn our sorrow into a celebration of Dr. Garang’s life and the legacy he left behind. May his spirit continue to guide us towards a brighter future for our beloved nation.
